Juventus defeated Genoa in Turin after securing the victory in the first half already.
Czech Republic defender Zednek Grygera opened the scoring with a 6th minute goal against Gasperini’s men. Former Palermo forward Amauri made it 2-0 to see off the Genoa.
Vincenzo Iaquinta scored the 3-0 goal before goal machine Diego Milito scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot in the dying minutes 3-1. Genoa scored another goal but unfortunately it was an own goal through Papastathopoulos in the 90th minute.
Juventus climb up the table and with this 7th successive win the Old Lady is showing an impressive run in both the league and in Europe. Perhaps Mourinho should begin to respect Ranieri a little more.

Due to the rugby game at the Olimpico (Juventus home arena) on Saturday this fixture between 2 teams in a very good form has been moved to today!
If one had not followed the Serie A lately one would have believed this northwest derby to be an easy one for Juventus’ superstars. Genoa however has managed to grab a point away to top teams such as Inter and Udinese. One of the best weapons of Genoa is their highly rated manager, Gasperini.
On the pitch though it is Diego Milito. The player is currently in a very good mood, leading the Serie A goal scoring table and is the biggest danger to Juventus. Ranieri’s pre-match comments: ‘Genoa is a very good team. It is very well prepared with mechanisms which have been well-studied, the team knows how to defend and how to fight back. We know of the good qualities of the team, of the individuals (Milito) and of Gasperini. This is why a great effort will need to be made on our side, we need a Juventus at 110%’.
Juventus is still without Buffon and as usual Alex Manninger will replace him. Mauro Camoranesi is still on his way back and has been training lightly lately. Alessandro Del Piero has produced on a high level lately and will be the key for Juvenus. Ranieri’s side have six successive victories, including twice against Real Madrid.
Genoa are a real danger team and should not be underestimated. The team that wins will climb the table and join the likes of Inter and Milan.
May the best team win…
Our tip: A Del Piero inspired Juve will win 2-0 (Genoa has only won in Turin twice… ever).

Bolton sealed an unrare away win in the Premier League after beating West Ham 3-1 at Upton Park.
Bolton were helped by England international keeper Robert Green who was unfortunate today. The ball slipped out of his hands in the rainy weather, a mistake that cost the Hammers a 0-1 goal.
Just when West Ham were trying to work their way back into the game the Wanderers scored another goal, this time through Gary Cahill after a rebound. Despite a heavy possession (66%) West Ham were never really threatening Bolton. As many times before it was the last decisive pass that lacked.
The Hammers scored a 1-2 goal but it was not their day and Bolton scored another as they sealed a 3-1 win to end Gianfranco Zola’s 100% record.
