The International break is over and it´s time to get “serious” again. Aston Villa will host Chelsea tomorrow and hopefully we will see a great game. Chelsea has “only” managed to win two away games against Aston Villa in 10 years and I am sure that they will fight hard to win tomorrow.
Chelsea will be without J Bosingwa, Alex and M Ballack. Time to see Joe Cole from start?
Aston Villa will be without A Young, S Downing, and S. Davies.
Our Tip
We think that Aston Villa is strong enough to take at least 1 point tomorrow. Even though Chelsea are favorites tomorrow it´s never easy playing at Villa Park
Our Tip - 1-1

The second game for tonight in Copa Del Rey is a great derby between Barcelona and Espanol. It does not matter if the game is friendly or not, it is always tense when these two are playing against each other.
Espanol is struggling at the moment and this is their chance to turn things around. I am sure that they will give 110% tonight against Barcelona.
Barcelona is playing, according to me, the best football in the world at the moment. I never miss their games on TV because I know that the game will almost always be very entertaining. It does not hurt that they have, according to me, the best player in the World, MESSI!!.
The first leg finished 0-0 and I am certain that we will see some goals tonight.
Our prediction - 3-0

We have two great games tonight to look forward when Copa Del Rey returns for second leg.
Sevilla - Valencia
First leg was very entertaining. Valencia managed to with the game 3-2 and I am sure that we will see few goals tonight also. Valencia will be without their most important player David Villa.
Our prediction - 3-1

These teams have made it to the last 16:
Group A
Nothing decided yet although Chelsea should win against Cluj in the last game and be joined by Roma who should beat Bordeaux.
Group B
Inter are through and will be joined by Panathinaikos or Anorthosis (they play each other in the last game)
Group C
Barcelona are through and so should Sporting if they dont lose to Basel as Barcelona crash at home to Sjachtar.
Group D
Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are through to the last 16.
Group E
Man Utd and Villareal shared the points last time, which meant they are both through
Group F
Lyon and Bayern Munich are expectedly through
Group G
Arsenal (trouble in the league) and Porto are through
Group H
Giants Real Madrid and Juventus are of course through.
Our list so far
1. Inter
2. Barcelona
3. Liverpool
4. Atletico Madrid
5. Villareal
6. Man Utd
7. Lyon
8. Bayern Munich
9. Arsenal
10. Porto
11. Real Madrid
12. Juventus
———–
13. Chelsea?
14. Roma?
15. Sporting?
16. Panathinaikos?
Now this would make the last 16 really symbolize the best teams in Europe.
Although Milan and Valencia are missed due to a weak 2007/2008 domestic season…

Everton - Middlesbrough 1-1
Just as we predicted, Everton and Middlesbrough shared the points at Goodison Park in an early encounter. Everton should be happy Yakubu was back in the starting XI to save the face of Moyes. In the first half Gary O’Neill had shocked the Blues with a finish in the bottom right corner in the 8th minute already.
Everton fought their way back into a fairly even game, had a possession of 64% and 11 corners against 1 for Middlesbrough. Everton super hero Yakubu was assisted by Mikel Arteta and scored the equalizer in the 65th minute from a very close range. Yakubu was substituted in the dying minutes and the match ended 1-1.
Let’s say Middlesbrough were a bit more happy with a point than Europe aiming Everton.

Ajax took some very important three points against PSV in Amsterdam today. Suarez opened the scoring in the first half. PSV levelled the match through the promising Afellay but they never got close to beat Ajax at the Arena. But it took 74 minutes before Ajax scored the 2-1 goal and soon after Suarez completed his brace. Leonardo definitely finished PSV off to make it 4-1 in this heavy weight Dutch encounter.
Ajax go top, level with surprise team NAC. PSV trail behind and have left a 7 point gap. It is still early season though and PSV may still make amends when Ajax travel to Eindhoven later…
Ajax - PSV 4-1

We start off with the Premier League…
Two games are to be played today. An early clash at Goodison Park 13.30 CET between Everton and Middlesbrough. Yakubu returns for this important Sunday clash.
Our tip: 1-1, it should be a close fight for places up the table
The later fixture is at 16.00 CET. Hull City host a falling Manchester City side as pressure piles on Mark Hughes to start producing. Hull on the other side need to keep on winning at home soil as their honey moon seems to be over. The Tigers should be able to shake an inconsistent Man City side.
Our tip: 2-1, a tough game to predict but with players such as Robinho on the pitch there should be goals at least.
——————-
Serie A
Siena - Bologna
Atalanta - Napoli
Cagliari - Fiorentina
Udinese - Reggina
Catania - Torino
Milan - Chievo
Sampdoria - Lecce
The interesting game will take place at the Olimpico in the eternal city of Rome.
Roma - Lazio!!!
There is an incredible 15 point gap between the two Rome teams and Lazio have produced fine results in the Serie A to climb up to an honouring 5th spot in the table. Roma however have done the opposite and Spaletti is under huge pressure despite winning against Chelsea in the Champions League.
You know how a derby works… the league table counts for nothing and it will be a very interesting match indeed… As usual when it comes to a Rome derby.
Our tip: 2-1, Roma must win this game for the players to dare show themselves at the training ground on Monday.

Atl Madrid - La Coruna
Bilbao - Osasuna
Recreativo - Barcelona
Tricky games for top teams Barcelona and Villareal…
————
One Bundesliga fixture

Werder need a win to start show their true worth…they have been a dissapointment so far…

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was in terrific mood when his brace was enough to see off Sicilian team Palermo.
Mourinho’s team is as hot as fire and the Portuguese coach must be very happy with the Swedish heavy striker. Inter’s win puts pressure on Milan and the other top teams.
Palermo - Inter 0-2
Goals: Ibrahimovic 47′, 66′
